HOTEL THE EXCHANGE

Amsterdam, The Netherlands

While we were in Amsterdam we stayed at several Hotels, and Hotel the Exchange was the first one. Our simple and clean room really inspired me to stage some images with Olja. I think you guys already know how much I love staging images and playing with objects and the surroundings to create interesting pictures. If you somehow missed my Staged Photography Part I and II posts, you can have a look at them here and here.

This beautiful hotel is in the Center of Amsterdam and mixes Hotel design with Fashion in 61 unique and different rooms which have been designed by young fashion designers from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute. While we were there we got a private tour to see some of the different rooms. We posted a few clips and images on Instagram stories while they were showing us around, hopefully you were able to check them out then.

We stayed in room 703 aka Rembrandt New, which was on the last floor and had really nice views of the city. It was like our own private white paradise, so clean and perfect. Here in the pictures you can see our room and also some pictures we took in a different room which had really cool vintage mirrors and a very photogenic wallpaper. Both rooms are really different and are great locations to shoot! If you are looking for a unique experience and a one-of-a-kind room, then this is definitely the place for you.

What do you think about the rooms? Do you prefer the white space or the vintage room? Feel free to share your thoughts with me in the comments below.
