On our second day in Amsterdam we stayed at Pulitzer Amsterdam! Although the hotel is located in one of the most beautiful quarters of the city, close to the State Museum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Anne Frank House and the flower market, it was really difficult to force ourselves to leave the Hotel and our room to go for a walk. We felt so good there, the room is super spacious and really comfortable, it felt like home! The Hotel is incredible and has so much history and has many different and unique corners to explore with details everywhere. On the photos, unfortunately, you can only see a small part of it, simply because one day is just not enough, but we would love to stay there again in the future and explore more of it and write a Part II of this charming Hotel. Everyone working at the Hotel was so nice to us! Shortly after arriving at our room, they brought us water with fruits inside, macarons and two beautiful notebooks from the Hotel, which was a really thoughtful gesture. A really nice lady also showed us around and told us about the history of the Hotel, it was very interesting.
The Hotel itself was recently renovated and consists of 25 typical Dutch houses from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is difficult to have an idea of how large the Hotel actually is from the outside, but it is actually considered to be the largest national historical monument of the Netherlands and resembles a huge labyrinth that can be explored forever, since you have books, paintings, art, furniture pieces, plants all over the place. Pulitzer has its own restaurant 'Jansz' in which you can really feel the history with a touch of modernity. Individual marble and wooden tables, velvet banquettes and 3-D panels create a cinematic atmosphere. I think I could write about this place forever! Во второй день в Амстердаме мы остановились в Pulitzer Amsterdam! Хоть отель и находится в одном из самых красивых кварталов Амстердама, недалеко от Государственного музея, музея Ван Гога, дома Анны Франк и цветочного рынка, сложно было заставить себя выйти из номера и пойти гулять. Потому что отель безумно красивый, вплоть до каждой детали. На фото, к сожалению, можно увидеть только маленькую часть его, просто потому, что одного дня для такого места очень мало, и я уже мечтаю погостить там снова и сделать вторую часть про Pulitzer Amsterdam в блоге. Это один из самых уютных, именно уютных и просторных отелей, в которых я когда-либо была, здесь чувствуешь себя как дома и совсем не хочется никуда уходить! Весь отель расположен в 25 реставрированных типичных голландских домиках 17-го и 18-го веков.
Определить масштабы отеля с первого взгляда сложно, но на самом деле он считается крупнейшим национальным историческим памятником Нидерландов и напоминает огромный лабиринт, который можно исследовать вечно, а все потому, что останавливаешься каждую минуту разглядеть детали, книги, текстуру, картины в коридорах отеля. У Pulitzer есть свой ресторан Jansz, в котором во всех деталях чувствуется история, но при этом есть и частичка современности. Индивидуальные мраморные и деревянные столы, бархатные банкетки и 3-D панели создают киношную атмосферу. Мне кажется, я могу о нем писать еще долго, но если вам вдруг хочется ознакомится ближе, смотрите здесь всю информацию.
